Adoption Garage Sale layout...

This layout has some VERY special memories attached to it! Putting this page together just brought all those memories back. It was only a little more than a year ago, but it seems like ages ago!

When we were trying to adopt, Little Stinkerbella came and EVERYTHING happened so fast (within 4 days..mind you this was after years of our journey). We literally had a couple of weeks to come up with a TON of money for the adoption agency. We had NO idea how this was going to happen, but some of our friends came up with a genius idea. Our friends and family came together, donated, and put on a HUGE garage sale. We had tons of donations and put out emails for everyone to come. It was held at a fabulous friend's house, and their daughter even put together a lemonade stand!
I'm loving this house on Hoot n' Holler it's the perfect embellishment for this page and turned into a great journaling spot too! I cut strips of brown paper and used a scallop border punch to add more dimension to the house's roof. Then I added some Glossy Accents and chunky glitter to the pink polka dot paper.
The for sale sign and grass are from the Pop-Up Neighborhood cartridge.

I use the packaging from my stickers to line up my title and see where I want everything placed.

The sun and clouds are also from the Pop-Up Neighborhood cartridge. I doodled around the clouds with a brown marker and then with a white gel pen to mimic the background paper. I also added some glitter around the sun to make it SHINE! :)

There were so many people that came, and I wanted to try to get everyone on the page so I put together a collage and had it printed at Walgreens.

We are soooo blessed to call all of these people are friends and family! Thanks for popping by today and thanks for sharing these special memories with me! <3Kristy
