Peppermint Bark Heart Lollipops...

Hello my crafty friends! Today is a Craft Junkie Too Design Team Project day!!!! We were asked to create a last minute Christmas gift idea! So, I whipped up some lollipops for my friends and family! I saw the idea of large candy cane peppermint bark, 2 years ago, and kept saying I needed to make these! Well, this year I had the chance and I decided to make them into peppermint bark lollipops!
I used small candy canes and placed them into a heart shape onto a lollipop stick.
I put them in the oven at 250 for 4  1/2 minutes. As soon as they come out of the oven carefully pinch the candy canes together, this will create a seal.
***Side note...any candy canes that are broken, you have to eat! It's not my rule, but it's the rule! ;)
Next, I broke up some baking chocolate and put it in a baggie. I warmed the chocolate up in the microwave in 20 second intervals.
Then cut a small hole in the tip of the baggie.
Put a small layer of chocolate in the bottom of each heart.
I did the same steps with the vanilla candy coating and then put sprinkles on top of each heart.
I put them in the fridge to set up.
Then I typed "From my heart to yours! Merry Christmas! Kristy" and printed them out onto card stock.
 Cut the paper in half.

Fold them in half and cut out a triangle shape, to turn them into flags.

Put a small cello bag onto the heart pop, tie with a piece of twine, add glue to the tag, put it around the stick, and tie the twine into a bow!

I think they turned out pretty cure and they have been super fun to hand out!

Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!!!

Name signs...

Today's my day to be the guest designer over at She's a Sassy Lady. If you have a moment please hop on over and leave me a comment. Here's my post:

Hi everyone! This is Kristy from craftin-on-my-door and I want to thank Sheila for allowing my to be her guest designer again today! I look forward to my monthly She's a Sassy Lady posts!

This month I thought I would show you all a quick and fabulous Christmas gift. A friend of mine needed the help of me and my trusty Cricut to put together some gifts for her family and friends, and I through together a couple too! She started at Home Depot bought some baseboards and had them cut them down for her. Then she painted them and waited for my Cricut's arrival! We cut out each person's last name and "established" with the date they were married. Here's what we came up with...
We love how they turned out! We made 10 of these to give out as gifts. For the last name I used Plantin Schoolbook and for the established I used the Calligraphy cartridge. Using my Gypsy, E2, vinyl, and a 12 x 24 mat these came together very quickly!

My friend also had some smaller baseboards that she had painted in different colors, so we decided to decorate some of these for teacher and friend gifts.
For this one I used the Feeling Groovy and Calligraphy cartridges.
On this sign I used Feeling Groovy and replaced the dot on the i with an asterisk.
For this sign I used the Something to Celebrate and Calligraphy carts.

Scrappy Mom's Guest Designer for December!

I'm so honored to be Scrappy Mom's Stamps...
I love their stamps, their designs, and that they are made in the good ol' USA! Let me just tell you, you are going to {love} this release!!! The first set is called Dancing in Circles...Imagine all the possibilities with this set!
I decided to use the Gingerbread cartridge and make a sweet little garland. It came together soooo quick with this stamp set! The little men were cut at 4.50".  Next,  I used a 1.5" circle punch and a scallop circle punch for the sentiment. Then I used a slot punch in the middle of the circles and on each hand of the gingerbread men, this way I was able to thread the ribbon through and tie a loose knot!
Here are some pictures of the garland hanging on my palm tree, Christmas tree!

I think that this would also make an adorable little banner!

I can't wait to create some more fun projects with this stamp set, the ideas are already flowing in my mind! ;) Scrappy Mom's Stamps is having a giveaway!!!! Everyone that purchases the Dancing in Circles set from 12/9-12/18 will be entered into a drawing for the Fiskars 1.5" circle squeeze punch and the coordinating Fiskars scalloped circle squeeze punch!!!! What a perfect giveaway for this stamp set!

And look how perfect the second set in the release is...
It's perfect for all things birthday!!!!

Avila Valley Barn LO #1...

Hello my crafty friends! Here is another layout I made using Imaginisce products.

Last month we flew to California for a friend's wedding. While we were there we came across the most AMAZING place to take Little Stinkerbella! We found the Avila Valley Barn (in San Luis Obispo). They had a TON of animals, and gave you a produce bag full of food to feed them, free hay rides, pumpkin patch, the most delicious fresh apple cider, and more! Little Stinkerbella loved this place, she had a blast! There are a lot more photos and pages to be made!
