Beary Dangerous LO

Hello my crafty friends! Sorry I've been a little MIA lately! I'm super busy at school right now, little Stinkerbella is ALL over the place, and my brother and sister-in-law moved around the corner from us and I've been helping them out while chasing Stinkerbella around! Here's a quick post of a LO. I loved this little bear cozy. We were going to go out to eat, it was raining, and Stinkerbella was only a couple of month old. The bear "jacket" was perfect!

I "had" to add some flowers, bling, and twine!
I even doodled around the title.

Added some stickers for the date.

Flowers and bling were added to the photo.
I hope you all had a GREAT weekend! I am already looking forward to next Saturday because I am going to an all day crop with my mom and some friends! <3 Kristy

Football with my Dad LO

Every time I look at these pictures I just crack up! I remember walking down the stairs, hearing my hubbie laughing. He said, "Look she's watching football with her dad!" He had taken his beanie off and had put it onto Stinkerbella's little bitty head. I HAD to grab the camera! Here's a quick LO I did with those pics.
I used the football from Everyday Paperdolls, and to be honest I can't remember what I used for the hearts. I also embossed the footballs using a Cuttlebug folder, and then used twine and a larger needle to sew on the "threads" of the football.

For the "FOOTBALL" part of the title I used Making Memories canvas letters. Then, I used Cherry Limeade to cut out "with MY" and some big Thickers for "dad."

I am so grateful for scrapbooking, and being able to "capture" these precious moments! I am very behind because my little Stinkerbella tends to have a lot of these type of moments! ;) I hope you all get a chance to "capture" something special to your heart, this week! Happy crafting my friends! <3 Kristy

So LUCKY to have you!

Today's my day to be the guest designer over at She's a Sassy Lady. If you have a moment please hop on over and leave me a comment. Here's my post:

Hi everyone! This is Kristy from craftin-on-my-door and I want to thank Sheila for allowing my to be her guest designer again today! I look forward to my monthly She's a Sassy Lady posts! Today I thought that I would give you a quick and easy project to make and present to those {you are so "lucky" to have in your life}! And it's just in time for St. Patty's Day! I have to give credit where credit is due...I saw this idea posted on the eighteen25 girls page (they are adorable), and I thought hmm....these are cute but what can I change and add with my trusty Cricut?!

Here's what I came up with:
Here's what you will need:
*Boxes of Lucky Charms cereal
*treat bags (I got mine at Michaels)
*cardstock
*twine
*buttons
*flowers
*bling
*Microsoft Powerpoint or a photoshop program
*a cartridge with a shamrock on it (I used April Showers and then hid the smiley face with my Gypsy)

First, I opened up my Powerpoint program and found two different fonts that I liked. I chose ArabBruD, and Amaze.  Then, I made a text box for "you" and placed it in the bottom corner. Next, was a text box for "to have," and I placed it next to the "you." Then, I did another text box for "lucky," I changed the color to green and sized it larger than the other words. Lastly, I made a text box for "so," and placed it next to the lucky.
(I tried to download the file, but it did not show up properly on box.net-sorry!)
I didn't want to have to recreate the positions again, so after printing  I put them back into my printer and printed on the other side. Now, you will have 2 on a page. Then I cut each page in half at 5 1/2" (landscape). Next, cut each topper at 4 1/2", and then score at 2 1/4". While I was figuring out all the computer info my fabulous sister-in-law filled up the bags with Lucky Charms. She also folded the toppers in 1/2 for me, I trimmed the bags, folded the extra over, and stapled the toppers to the top! I {LOVE} team work!
Then, I tied twine around the entire topper, and added a button and a bow. We cut out the shamrocks at 6" added flowers and bling. We also added some 3D-dot to to the back of each shamrock to add some dimension.
I can't wait to hand these out to some of my friends at work! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you all have a {lucky} kind of week! <3 Kristy

Shhh..Don't tell your husbands!

So my hubbie keeps asking me what's so great about the Cricut? Why do I keep needing new mats? How come I can spend so much time up in the loft crafting? And so on... Well, this weekend we went shopping at Hobby Lobby and JoAnns and he picked out his own papers. We came home and put the Little Stinkerbella down for a nap and I gave him a quick lesson on the Cricut. He used Indie Art and Stand and Salute and came up with his first set of "Man cards."
But don't tell anyone because he said he didn't want to lose his "man card!" He even said, "This is kinda relaxing and stress relieving." He also told me that I can buy as many mats as I want because he can now see how annoying it gets when your paper doesn't stick! I was told that his next set of cards will be beach themed to go along with Life is a Beach, and his Tahiti paper stack that he got! He said that now he doesn't have to wait for me to make him a card, he will just make his own. This is all hilarious to me and I love it! But remember don't tell anyone! :)

While he was making his cards I was preping for my St. Patrick's Day banner class that I am teaching on Friday night, and I also made this card:
I used the Slumber Party cart for the bunny (it kinda reminded me of a marshmallow bunny), and Pink by Design stamp from the Hoppy Easter set.
Of course I added a little stickles to the whiskers, and some twine and bling to finish off the card.
I'm going to add this card to the More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday challenge. The challenge is to use anything as long as it is zoo themed. Most zoos have rabbits right?! Wish me luck, I would {love} to win the $15 gift card to Pink by Design!!!
