Fresh Water layout...

Like I said in my last post...I love all things Shimelle, and this week at Two Peas the fabulous Glitter Girl challenges and shows us 3 ways to use up our scraps. I did another version using example 1. Here's what I came up with:
I used Echo Park papers (and stickers) from the Country Drive line! I love all these bright springy colors! I mixed some Thickers and letter stickers for the title. I also added Glossy Accents to the letters of water and some of the hearts.

Little Stinkerbella is absolutely hilarious! Lately she has been asking us for "fresh water" whenever she is thirsty! I figure I HAVE to document these moments so that we can remember and giggle at them later! ;)
I also added a glittery brad and some twine.
Thanks for stopping by today! I will be uploading this layout to the Two Peas Glitter Girl Challenge! Have a fabulous weekend! ♥Kristy

Friends layout...

I have to say that I love all things Shimelle, and this week at Two Peas the fabulous Glitter Girl challenges and shows us 3 ways to use up our scraps. I did my own version of mixing up example 2 and 3. Here's what I came up with:
I love the colors in this layout and ALL of the papers are scraps except for the white and the turquoise colored border. I used strips of scraps, circle punches, and a butterfly punch. I also added in some fun striped washi tape.

I doodled around the turquoise mat with a white gel pen and used my computer and the Delius font for my journaling. The butterflies were embellished using pink crochet thread. I finished off the layout using Thickers for my title.

HOP decor...

Hello my crafty friends!

Today is a Craft Junkie Too Design Team Project day!!!! We were asked to create a 3D Easter project. A couple of my friends and I came up with this decor idea for our MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group:

I loved how they turned out and they were all different! The boards were bought and cut at Home Depot. Then we put out spring paint colors and let the ladies pick their color. We painted the boards, let them dry, and attached the letters, ears and bunny tail!
The letters were cut at 3" using the Zoo Day cartridge. The ears were cut at 5.75" using the Slumber Party cartridge.
Here it is up on my mantle with my Easter subway art by the eighteen25 girls.

There's no bunny like you...

Today's my day to be the guest designer over at She's a Sassy Lady. If you have a moment please hop on over and leave me a comment. Here's my post:

Hi everyone! This is Kristy from craftin-on-my-door and I want to thank Sheila for allowing my to be her guest designer again today! I look forward to my monthly She's a Sassy Lady posts!

With Easter just around the corner I thought it would be fun to make a spring like project! I have a super sweet friend that spoiled me rotten over the weekend, and I needed to make her a thank you card. I found a cute bunny idea using punches at the Papered Cottage, and I have the perfect set of stamps from My Creative Time to add to the card! Here's what I came up with:
Here are the papers that I started with:
 And here are the punches...
Punch a large heart and a small heart
Cut the hearts in half and use your scissors to curve off the top inside half of the heart. Below the one on the left has been cut.
I didn't like the black in the pattern paper so I switched it to a light silver paper. ;)
Using the Give a Hoot cartridge and the fit to length feature I cut a grass border at 4 1/4.
The card was cut at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.  Then, I laid out my papers and stamped the sentiment, "There's no bunny like you!"
The cloud paper was cut at 4 1/4 x 4 1/2, and then I tied some hot pink twine around the bottom of the card.
I used a couple of glue dots to attach the grass border, glued the larger circle down, and popped the smaller circle up with foam tape.
I then decided that the cute little bunny need a face so I took it off the card and added some fun brads. Lastly, I added the sparkly silver pom pom for the bunny's little tail and rounded the bottom corners of the card with my corner chompers!
Now, I just need to write my many thank yous inside and mail it off to my friend!

I hope this inspired you to pull out your punches and create a fun card! Thanks for stopping by today!  ♥Kristy

Breakfast for dinner!

Happy St. Patty's day! Here's a little somethin' with "green" in it!;)

I LOVE breakfast for dinner!!! And these were delish! I found this recipe on Pinterest, you can find it HERE. I put sausage and bell peppers in mine (my hubby is not a big broccoli fan!). I also used my larger muffin pan.

These were delish and I loved that they held a muffin type shape! I served them up with some breakfast potatoes and biscuts! Thanks for stopping by today! I'm lucky enough to be at a Crafty Girls crop today and I hope to get a LOT done! ;) ♥Kristy

A Girl and her dog...

Hello my crafty friends! When I read that the uber adorable and talented Jinger Adams was having a Design Team call, I knew I just had to try out! I can only imagine how fabulous her *new* products will be! If you read my blog you know I'm a scrapbooker, card maker, and also love to create home decor! Well, Jinger just wants to see ONE project! How do I pick?! So, I decided to pick a cute and simple scrapbook layout that I created this past weekend at a crop. Here is A Girl and her dog....
I love mixing stickers, die cut letters, and different fonts for my titles!
I welded together my own borders so that they would match the big heart in the title. I also cut extra hearts, inked around the edges, and used 3D foam adhesive for more dimension.
Of course I had to add some twine, a small Prima flower, and a button!
Our dog, Hope is definitely Little Stinkerbella's dog. She can do ANYTHING to this dog and Hope just sits and takes it! My husband and I actually think that Hope believes that Stinkerbella is her puppy! I just might have to add a little journaling to this page and tuck it behind one of the pictures, but the title does say it all!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Wish me luck, what an honor it would be to be on Jinger's DT! ;)  ♥Kristy

Hello my crafty friends!

Today is a Craft Junkie Too Design Team Project day!!!! We were asked to create a project that has flowers on it. This could be something that represents spring! Well since I just received the new blossom punch from Stampin' Up, I HAD to use it! I decided to make up a couple of quick and cute 3 x 3 cards. I just love these colors!
The cards were cut at 3 x 6 and then scored and folded at 3. The green layer was cut 1/8 of an inch smaller. I used my corner chomper and rounded 2 corners. I also added a prima flower and a studio g brad to the center of each flower.
There is a piece of foam adhesive in between the 2 large flowers, to add some more dimension. Of course I added some pink and white twine to the top of each little card.
