It's Definitely HER Room!

Hi Crafty Friends! Our Little One is having a heck of a time with teething, right now. She is definitely not her sweet, little precious self. She is also going through the 9 month stage of, "I want my mommy to hold me all the time and NEVER leave my sight!" She is absolutely a huge BLESSING and I LOVE her dearly, but I have decided that I am permanently changing the Little One's nickname from Our Little Pickle Princess to...
Our Little Stinkerbella! It's cute and right now totally has the "stinker" part right!

There are a few things that I have been wanting to do in her room, and one includes getting her name up on the wall. Well, this week I finally got it up. (This has been something I have been working on for at least a month! In fact, if you look at the picture of my desk/door at the top of the blog you will see where I painted the letters white and had them out to dry.)
My Super Duper friend Shannon bought these for the Little Stinkerbella, and I started by painting them white. Next, I used a Me and My Big Ideas paper stack that had a Hawaiian feel to it, and a "little" flower punch. I used a different sheet of paper for each letter, and must have punched out thousands of flowers. I really should have used my trusty Cricut! My hand was killing me the next day! :)
I used Mod Podge to adhere the little flowers, but I didn't put a coat on top because I liked the textured look.
When I was finished with that LONG task (and after they dried) I cut ribbon and adhered them on the back with tacks.
The tan heart knobs used to be blue, but since there is no blue in Stinkerbella's room we spray painted them with Primer {Thanks Shannon!} and then sprayed them tan to match some of the Hawaiian leaves on her bedspread.
I think it turned out pretty cute! The "S" was a little low, but we fixed that later. I may still add a big flower to some of the letters, but haven't decided yet?!
I had 2 more of the heart knobs so I hung them above her crib, and then hung a couple of little costumes from them!
Next, I want to paint her room (I know, I should have done that first, but I don't always do everything the easy way...I do it the "Crafty" way)! Thanks for stopping by :)
p.s. I promise I am STILL working on the blog candy! I have 6 of the 14 almost done!
