Halloween Treat Bags

Hello my crafty friends! Today's Craft Junkie Too Design Team project is to create some quick, fun, and cute Halloween treat bags.  I just {loved} this challenge! Here's what I came up with...
I just used regular lunch bags, this is something everyone can get their hands on! ;)
I measured 6" from the bottom, drew a line, and used my (mom's) decorative scissors.
Then I used a ruler to fold over the top of the bag.
Next, I punched a hole, threaded some sparkly black tulle through the hole, and tied it with some orange and white twine.
Then I cut a piece of this fun crepe paper, put some glue on the back, and folded it back and forth onto the bag. I made my own little "ticket" by cutting a piece of white paper at 2 1/4" by 1". I used my SU ticket corner punch, some Tim Holtz ink for the edges, and some orange stickles for some color. I also used one of my favorite Scrappy Mom's Stamp sets Bewitched for the sentiment. The last thing I did was add a couple of orange spider rings onto the bag.
What do you think?! I think they turned out pretty cute, and they were SUPER fast to make! So, if you need to make a bunch of treat bags for Halloween, here's an option for you! Plus you can fill them with just about anything!

Thanks for stopping by today, and please make sure you hop on over to CJToo to see what the other DT members made for their treat holders!

Crafty Girls Cabin Scrapbooking Retreat!

Hi Everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a week! Last weekend I was lucky enough to attend the 1st Crafty Girls Cabin Scrapbooking Retreat! It was AMAZING!!!!! This was definitely the BEST weekend retreat I have EVER been to! First of all look at this amazing cabin we stayed in, in Zion...
I forgot to take a picture of our room. Trust me everything was perfect! You would not believe how beautiful this cabin was inside too!
Do you see the rainbow?? Ahh...just beautiful!
 This was the "backyard."
Here's what we saw as we walked in to the scrapping basement...
What a great saying and remember! P.S. I probably ate about half of that delish licorice! ;)
This was a game we played with all of our baby pictures, and this is where they put all the make n takes! We made a TON of adorable make n takes!
Here's my table area...yes, I'm a "spread it out" scrapper! ;)
These were the goodies on our table when we arrived Friday morning, and that cute bag held our lunch! You would not believe all the goodies these amazing gals poured on each of us! Each night when we went to bed there were presents on our pillows, and every time we came back from eating a meal we would find multiple gifts that these little "fairies" flew by and left at our seats!!!!!! I wish I would have taken pictures of all of them!
Here are the fabulous Crafty Girls themselves...Barb and Irene! I feel so blessed to call them my friends!
I {love} these Crafty Girls masks that Irene made up for the group picture! She cracks me up!
And here we all are... Can you find me???
And here I am at my scrappin' desk! The best part was catching up with friends, spending time with my mom (notice how her supplies are creeping over to my desk?? ha ha), and I just loved that cell phones did work at this beautiful cabin! What a relaxing and restful (except my friend Kathleen and I didn't go to bed Friday night...we were up  until 7:30am) weekend! I can't wait for next year's Crafty Girls retreat, I'm already on the list! ;)
I made a LOT of layouts and can't wait to share them with all of you.... <3Kristy

CJ Too Design Team Post

Hello my crafty friends! Today's theme for our Craft Junkie Too DT post is FabulousFall ~ We were told to Make a project using the changing colors of fall as your inspiration... anything BUT a card. Well, I have the perfect project to show you all! I recently attended another Crafty Girls Crop and my super crafty friend Irene had this kit all ready for us to make up! When I walked into her house and saw this...I fell in {LOVE}! Here's mine:
Super cute Witchy Poo Welcome sign, right?!!! Love at all that glittery beautifulness! Don't these black boots make you want a pair of your own?!
Also LOVE what the tulle adds behind the sign!
No Halloween sign would be complete without a sparkly spider!
If you think this sign is freakin' adorable, you should see what else my super crafty friend creates! You can see her craftiness HERE! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope I was able to inspire you to create a fun fall project! Please hop on over to CJ Too to see what the other DT members made today! <3Kristy

Happy Birthday cards

Happy Birthday to my "niece!" I made her a set of b-day cards that she could use and send out to friends...
I used Pink by Design stamps and my Rock Princes cartridge.

I added some sparkly tulle behind, and some glossy accents and glitter to the cherry!
Here they are all tied up and ready for Stinkerbella to hand out!
I thought that they were adorable, and she loved them! Thanks for stopping by today! <3Kristy

DCWV September Sketch Challenge

Hello my crafty friends! I have been sooooo busy with filling orders and chasing Little Stinkerbella around that I almost didn't get DCWV September's Stack-a-holic challenge put together.  When I saw the sketch I knew which picture I was going to use! Here's the sketch:
I'm not normally one for ONE photo layouts, but I did have a picture perfect for this layout. Yes, of course it has to do with Little Stinkerbella! ;) Here's what I came up with:
I used the DCWV All About Girls stack/cardstock stack and the Pastels stack. I cut the heart using the Calligraphy cartridge, and used Thickers for my title.
Seriously, just look at how cute these tiny feet are...
Thanks for stopping by today! My fingers are crossed! I'd love to win some more DCWV stacks! "Hello my name is Kristy and I'm a Stack-a-holic!" ;) Have a great day! <3Kristy

P.S.  Guess who I got to meet yesterday?
Yep! That's Teresa Collins! I was sooo excited! Can you tell by the BIG o' cheesy smile?!!!! If you're a scrapper and you LOVE anything that's blinged out then you know who Teresa Collins is! She is one of my biggest influences and someone that I just totally admire!

Frankly You're the Best!

Hello my crafty friends! I received my new Scrappy Moms "Bewitched" stamp set in the mail yesterday, and I just HAD to make a quick card! Look how cute this set is...
I have a little tin pail that sits on my desk, and when ever I have "left overs" or pieces I didn't end up using I just plop them into the pail!
My goal for this card was to use pieces I had in the pail and/or scraps of paper...mission accomplished!

This cute little guy has been waiting in that pail for almost a year! I think he goes perfectly with this adorable stamp! Thanks for stopping by today! <3Kristy
