Valentine's home decor project...

Hello my crafty friends! Today is a Craft Junkie Too Design Team Project day!!!! We were asked to create a project that has a heart on it! A couple of months ago I was "playing" on Pinterest and found this, so I made this:
One of my friends called me and wanted to make a Valentine's project together, and I knew this would be perfect! We started with wood heart plaques,
and paint in conversation heart colors.
Next, we painted the hearts. (Do you see the little candy hearts below? They were our inspiration, but didn't last long!)
Then, I used my Gypsy to plan out our names. I just love the Sesame Street Sunny Day font! (I did replace the dot on the "i" with a heart.)
Here are all the names cut in vinyl.
Using clear contact paper as the transfer tape I put the names onto the hearts.
Then I turned the hearts over and used thumb tacks to attach the ribbon to each heart.
I made a bow to hot glue to the top of the ribbon loop.
 Here's my friend Kelly's...
And here are the pieces of mine...

While we were crafting away the older girls wanted to make something too. So, we gave them these small wooden hearts. They chose a color, painted, and then picked a saying.

I just love how this turned out, and I love how it hangs in our living room!

Thanks for stopping by today! Go ahead, click HERE to head on over to Craft Junkie Too to see what the other design team members have created for today's project! ♥Kristy

@ Ash Burg, I think she used a machine similar to a cricut. I don't have a maching like that so I would have to buy some adhesive letters. I am looking online for some now.

I choose a different family to make this for every February 💖💙💛💚💟

Love this idea. Where did you find those hearts and how long did the paint take to dry? thinking of doing this for Sunday School families.
