Purple Polka Dot Elephant Birthday

One of my fabulous friend's little girl had her 6th birthday (yes, back in May...I'm not only behind in scrapping but I have a TON of things to post too)! Well, Gracie wanted a Purple Polka Dot Elephant Dance Party! She got it all! Her Fire Captain Super Dad even made her a purple elephant cake! We made a banner and big purple elephants that we hung by tulle. It was adorable!

 I just LOVE how each piece turned out!!!!! (This banner will be in my Etsy shop and will be customizable! )

Here's the super cake (sorry the pic is not great, but this is what you get when you are trying to take a picture and chase a Little Stinkerbella at the same time)!

DCWV August Sketch Challenge

Here is the sketch for this month's DCWV challenge:

And using the All About Girls Stack here's what I came up with:

The title is definitely true!

 I made these flowers using the Mother's Day Bouquet, and Flower Shoppe. I didn't want anything to take away from Stinkerbella's cute pictures so I just layered the flowers with some dark brown tulle. For the center of the flowers I tied the tulle into many knots, then wrapped it around itself, and added a glue dot to the bottom.

 I used some of my scallop SU punches for the brown accent pieces), a small heart punch, Thickers, small Making Memories letters, and a Bazzill border.

 The large circle was cut at 6" using Accent Essentials, and the "10" was cut using Birthday Cakes.

 I was lucky enough to win as one of Erin's Top 10 last month. My fingers are *crossed* for this month's challenge, I would {LOVE} to win some of the new stacks that are coming out!!!

Happy Birthday ....soccer card!

HELLO my crafty friends! One of my super friends, that I teach with, has an AMAZING teenage daughter! Avery, this amazing teenager, is a SUPER soccer star and just stinkin' adorable! It was just Avery's birthday so here's a card I made for her from Little Stinkerbella and I:

 This is a 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" card. I used Elegant Edges for the background, Boys will be Boys for the soccer ball, and Birthday Cakes for her name.

I also used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder to emboss her name. For the "clouds" behind her name I used a big SU punch, cut them in half, and then staggered them behind her name. I {LOVE} this houndstooth ribbon!!!! I have been looking for it EVERYWHERE! I borrowed (was given this) from a friend, does anyone know where I can find this fabulous ribbon? :) I tied it together with some twine.

 I think that she will love it!  Looking forward to doing this a lot this summer, here's Avery with Stinkerbella...

I can only hope that my little Stinkerbella will grow up to be an AMAZING teenager like Avery!
