A Girl and her dog...

Hello my crafty friends! When I read that the uber adorable and talented Jinger Adams was having a Design Team call, I knew I just had to try out! I can only imagine how fabulous her *new* products will be! If you read my blog you know I'm a scrapbooker, card maker, and also love to create home decor! Well, Jinger just wants to see ONE project! How do I pick?! So, I decided to pick a cute and simple scrapbook layout that I created this past weekend at a crop. Here is A Girl and her dog....
I love mixing stickers, die cut letters, and different fonts for my titles!
I welded together my own borders so that they would match the big heart in the title. I also cut extra hearts, inked around the edges, and used 3D foam adhesive for more dimension.
Of course I had to add some twine, a small Prima flower, and a button!
Our dog, Hope is definitely Little Stinkerbella's dog. She can do ANYTHING to this dog and Hope just sits and takes it! My husband and I actually think that Hope believes that Stinkerbella is her puppy! I just might have to add a little journaling to this page and tuck it behind one of the pictures, but the title does say it all!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Wish me luck, what an honor it would be to be on Jinger's DT! ;)  ♥Kristy

Watermelon layout...

Here's a 1st..a watermelon layout and Stinkerbella's new love of watermelon! These pictures were taken over 4th of July weekend at Stinkerbella's Mimi & Papa's house!

I just LOVE Glassy Accents and chunky glitter! I also added some Glossy Accents to the seeds.
I also love that my i-Rock tray has another use...
The watermelons are from Doodlecharms. They look good enough to eat! ;)
I made a bow with my ribbon and tied it together with a piece of twine and a corduroy button.
I used a tab punch, twine, alpha stickers, and brads to make these tabs.

The "watermelon" is from the Preserves cartridge. I used my Xyron and put it through backwards and then sugared it with glitter.
What a fun summer memory! <3Kristy

CJ Too Design Team Post

Hello my crafty friends! Today's Craft Junkie Too DT project guidelines were to make a project for "Back to School!" Being a former teacher myself I thought about something every teacher can always use....Note cards! Every year I would make a little something for my teammates. I'm not teaching this year, but I still wanted to make a little something for my fabulous friends! Here are some cute personalized note cards that I made for the gals I used to teach with.

I used my E2 and my Gypsy for the cuts.

I cut the apples and their pieces first, using Doodlecharms. This way I was able to glue the apple and pieces together while the doilies were being cut out.
Apples, check! Doilies...still cutting...
So, I cut my note cards. They are the size of an A2 card, but only one side of the card. Super easy just cut a piece of 8 1/2 x 11 paper into fourths!
The doilies were finished, but I didn't think about what a "pain" it would be to get all those pieces off of the mat! Oh well. I picked this doily (from Lacy Labels) because it reminded me of the seeds inside the apple!
And what a PAIN to get all of the little pieces out of the doilies....eek!
But I {LOVE} how they turned out!!!
Look how cute they are?!
Then I cut strips of the brown paper  (it matches the stems), and glue them almost to the top of each note card.
Next, I attached the cute little monograms with SU 3D adhesive pieces.
I made 4 cards for each fabulous friend.

Then I added envelopes and tied them together with some more twine.

Well, anyone who gets any of these fabulous gals as their 2nd grade teacher is just super lucky! I will miss them all, but we'll be getting together regularly!

I hope you all enjoyed my post today! Please hop on over to CJ Too to see what the other DT members made today!
