And here is what I came up with (fyi these pictures are pre-Stinkerbella, when our pooches were our fur babies! Bob was a squirrel and Hope a ladybug.):
All pattern papers are from the DCWV Mod-Retro stack, and the purple and black papers are from one of the DCWV solid stacks. The stickers and borders are from K&Co., glittery tulle from H L, pins are from Making Memories, and the "Boo" chipboard title is from Target. I used my different sizes of square punches to make the cut outs on each flag. Just put the paper into the punch sideways, line up at the half-way mark (it looks like a triangle), and punch!
I just {love} all the little flags on this layout! I added 3D foam under most of the flags for dimension.
I made a flag using a kabob skewer, tulle, twine, sticker, and a piece of 6" DCWV paper. I also added a ball of black stickles to the top of the skewer.
I am so glad that I found this blog and these super cute sketches, too! I will definitely be doing this layout again with pics of Stinkerbella, and I can't wait to see next month's sketch! Here's to crafting until the early hours of the morning! <3 Kristy
