Hello my crafty friends, and welcome to the Shall We Dance Blog Hop! This is my first time participating in a blog hop, and I am so excited to show you what I’ve made! We have all created something using the Cricut Circle cartridge Shall We Dance. Hopefully you arrived from koalatkreations. I decided to create a layout for this hop. My daughter is one and is not in any sort of dance class yet, so I had to come up with a way that I could use some of the cuts on this cartridge. Here's what I came up with:
I used my trusty Gypsy to design and cut everything on this layout. The following were cut using the Shall We Dance cartridge:
The white "frame" is the Medallion 2 on page 70, and was cut at 8.12"h. Then, I doodled around the edges with a Stampin' Up marker.
The little "ballerina" is on page 42. Her and her layers were cut at 6 1/2". I embossed her hair with the Cuttlebug folder Divine Swirls, added a tulle bow, and cut a tree at 1" from the Christmas cartridge to match Little Stinkerbella's shirt.
I used Mini Monograms to cut out the scallop circle, and I also welded small circles into each scallop. This was cut at 13.29"h. The green polka dot circle is from the MM cart too. It was cut at 14.24"h. I only needed a little bit of red paper for the "ballerina's" outfit so I cut it out of the middle of the scallop circle and then covered it with the green polka dot circle.
The title was typed up onto my computer, and the color was changed to match the other browns on the layout.
"So big" was cut using All Mixed Up. The Silhouette, and the Shadow features were used to cut each letter at 2 1/2".
I used Stampin' Up Chocolate Chip Satin ribbon and glue lines for the border base. The stars, hearts, and memories borders are by Making Memories.
I used pop dots to add dimension, and also added some bling of course!
Thanks for "hoping" by today, and I hope you come back and visit! How about a little blog candy???? I was a part of a stocking swap this week, received some fun items, and would love to share a couple of things with one of you! All you have to do is become a follower, and leave a comment. I will chose a winner on Monday night.
